More Hawaii Photos

Random pictures that may or may not appear later in the Blog.  Byodo-in Temple in Kaneohe, above.

 Laie Visitor's Center Christus.
Koi in the pond surrounding the Byodo-in Temple.
Construction at the temple grounds. They were tearing up the little mosaic tiles on the bottom of the reflecting pool in the front of the temple.
 Laie Temple.
Lexi and Ella at their hotel pool. One of the stranger pools I've seen. It was 5 1/2 feet deep at the bottom of the stairs on the "shallow" end, and then was 7 feet deep everywhere else. Very tiring to have to always tread water or hang onto the sides.  Didn't seem to phase the kids who swam for hours.

Mike and I in front of Laie Temple.
Mike snoozing in the car while Pam and I trekked around the Punchbowl Cemetery.

A more close up shot of the tile being jack-hammered out of the reflecting pool.
A collection of surfboards in D & T's hotel room. Blue is Lexi, Orange is Ella, Red is Braeden.
Tandy making a lei for Damian who will be there the next day. Her head lei is a bit crooked.
A VERY tired Lexi after a long day in the surf and sun.

Other Hawaii photos

Please pardon all the typos in the Hawaii blogs. They will (probably) be corrected at a later time. Typing on a tablet does not work well for me!
Also, they are not in order. Suffice it to say, we went, we were gone a little over a week, and we had a great time!

The chapel in Kailua where we really wanted to attend church. Too bad it was stake conference.
Lots of rain up in the mountains on Saturday and Sunday.

The home we lived in near the beach (for part of one year only)

Pineapple field being harvested.

Memorial Day in Utah County, 2015

Provo Cemetery.

There are several un-marked graves that need to be decorated, and Berenice is about the only one who knows who is where.

Way, way, waaaaaay in the distance on the walk between trees, is Mike, hiking back to the car. Berenice and I were waiting for a ride on a Gator, garden-truck sort of thing.

The one above this is a zoomed-in shot of Mike. This one shows how far it really was. And aren't the clouds gorgeous?

Ooooh, pretty!

At the park after decorating graves. Mike and his cousin Matt Liebhardt from Orem. (Ed and Nona's youngest)
