The Texas Liebhardt's came between Christmas and New Years to enjoy some skiing. And our company ;-)
That just means we went out to eat with them. And we played games. And ate food. And celebrated the new year coming in! It was so fun to see these kids again. They are getting so big. Even though we just saw them for Thanksgiving, it still seemed like they continue to grow taller and taller.
And they are all great skiers and snow-boarders, too! Such athletes.
Eating out at Brads. Or Hermies. Or someplace fun like that.

Christmas and California Sorensen get-together
Robert came to Cedar City to stay with Dad while Mom, Mike and I traveled to California for the Sorensen family Christmas get-together. The crowd wasn't huge by any means, but it was a fun group and we had fun. Sandi and Shawn had the dinner CATERED by a taco truck. Talk about yummy!
Getting the whole group together AND getting the camera to go is always tricky, but Ken does a fine job.
Donna's Surprise visit in December
Donna Surprised Mom and Dad with a visit early in December. She came to Utah after being in Virgina for some training. Yes, it WAS a big surprise. While she was here, Dad and Robert celebrated their birthdays, and we had dinner and cake and ice cream and played games.
Donna got to add on a couple of un-intended extra days due to misplaced passports, so she and I accompanied Mom to her Dr. appointment to have an evaluation/shots in her back.
We went out to eat Mexican food one night, too! Fun times.
(And I dressed up for a Christmas party at work)

Icicles on New Years' Eve, 2019
Ella really loves snow
I really love icicles. I thought these were really pretty. So did Damian and Ella and Braeden. Enough so that they walked over to the Seminary building to take pictures after we had lunch at Hermies together.
Damian and Tandy and Family are in Utah for about a week, enjoying the cold and snow. They will be snow skiing and snowboarding for a few days.
This evening we (almost) rang in the new year by eating lots of snacks and junk food, and playing some games. But we said goodnight and sent them home at 11 pm. Hey, it was the new year in Texas, AND they have to get up early the filling day and hit the slopes.
Happy 2020, everyone. My phone was off charging most of the evening, so I didnt even take pictures. Their family had gone to the movies earlier, and we (Mike and I) ran over to have a quick little new year celebration with Mom And Dad. A little sparkling soda, some cheese ball with crackers, and some Chex Mix and it felt like new years. Kind of. :-)
Papers should have all been signed today at the closing on Mom and Dad's Georgia property. Whew. What an ordeal this has been! Also, Dad's VA Aid and attendance benefits are now contingent on some other stuff I have to do.... find or become an approved fiduciary. Ugh. So many steps! But it will be well worth it in the end. I just thought it would a lot smoother than this.
Who are we kidding here? We are dealing with lawyers and government. Nothing is ever simple with them.
I will tell you that the funnest part of the evening was playing "Heads Up", the iPhone app game. So funny!. We should have done the replays of some of those...like Damian describing a flying squirrel. Ha!
At work, the remodeling is going forward in our Circulation area. Progress.
At home, Mike and I do have grand plans to exercise together in the new year so we can survive Orlando this summer.
And Eric is doing a service project/big surprise for his friend Hannah. She was on vacation, and he is remodeling her apartment. New closet, paint and floors. I think he bit off more than he can chew.
