Update on Lexi

It has been a roller coaster ride for Lexi and her family! Home from ICU, major regression with loss of swallowing reflex, slurring speech, continued nausea and dizziness.

Back to the dr , on to ER, admitted to ICU yet again. A full MRI of her Brain and Spinal cord to see if anything was missed. It's been a huge deal.

Prayers still continue. Damian and Tandy still continue to give us almost daily updates. And there HAS been progress! On Mother's Day, we had a lovely video chat with her, and it hasn't been her first. She had enough energy to talk to others, felt MUCH improved, had been taken off of many meds, which might have been causing some of the issues.

Lexi can eat and usually keeps it down, she's been on walks to build strengths. She still has tremors and muscle spasms. It's going to be a journey! We are all hoping and praying she continues to improve daily❤️

This is a photo of her video call from Sunday afternoon/evening. She's looking good!!! Sounded good-- such a contrast from a phone call earlier in the week. (!)

Here is a photo Damian share on Tuesday the 12th of May-- passing cognitive tests in the ICU.

Draw a clock, trace patterns, etc. Her eyes are doing much better, too. They had initially been affected by the tremors and muscle spasms, affecting her vision and were not clearing up very quickly in the earlier time, either.

We are so grateful. She is a well-loved lady and MANY many people have been praying for her.
