Tuesday and the Temple

Water features outside on the temple grounds.
The last time we drove by the San Antonio Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 2018, it was closed and they were re-doing all the beautiful stained glass windows. The parking lot was a staging area to clean and remount them. I think there had been some water or moisture between the stained and clear coverings.

THIS time, we got to go in and it's lovely. We had a group of ten of us to help do proxy baptisms for some family (local, from Comal county) .  One of the temple workers even had ties to Cedar City and even tiny Kanarraville, Utah. Small world.

We sent Tandy off to have breakfast with her kids and the two others who joined us, Damian drove the old folks back home. (We had already eaten our breakfasts at home).

Damian took me for a quick drive in his new sporty blue Chevy Corvette Stingray. Fun. Fast. Loud. Bright blue. Square steering wheel. And it's really rare. There are not very many of them around at all.

Tonight is our flight home. Sad to go home. It's been fun and relaxing.
