Guenther House for Brunch on Friday
The Guenther's were German immigrants, quite wealthy, had a lovely home and founded Pioneer Flour Mills. ( They ground up corn, too .)
Liz and Mom in Hotel lobby. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn near the Riverwalk area.
We had a great guided tour of some of the San Antonio's Missions from the 1700's. Lots of interesting information. The Alamo is one, but we didn't stop there. Walked through part of it, though.
There are about 5 missions in the San Antonio area, all National Parks, all from 1700's, all very short-lived. Interesting history.
