Watercolors! Christmas Cards 🎄

I have wanted to paint watercolor Christmas cards for decades. I have probably wanted to do it ever since I took watercolor classes many many years ago. This is the year that it finally happened. I have about 70 of them ready to go into the mail tomorrow. They might even get to people's homes before Christmas!

I have taken photos of the ones I have left today because I made close to 90. There's always people who send cards that I didn't send a card to, and I want to make it up. So I had these extra. Actually, when I went over my list of people I would love to send to cards to this year, along with a newsletter, it was over 100. But I stopped making cards at 92 or so. At some point I'm going to have to clean off my dining room table from the pumpkin tablecloth and replace it with a Christmas one. :-) The dining room table has been my "Studio" for quite a while now.

These snapshots are just for my record. Just so I can remember that I finally did do it. The photos make them look like maybe third grade level art. Doesn't matter. It's old -lady-out-of-practice-level art. Haha.

This leftover batch includes some that are not very good and at have obvious boo boos I them. Watercolors are surprisingly forgiving. But some of these were beyond that level of boo boo. But not bad enough to trash. I only had a couple of those, too  (trash- can worthy ones). I hope I don't have to send many more out. Some of the ones that are set to go in the mail are quite nice and I really liked doing them. I hope the recipients enjoy them, too. At least for a minute or two during the season.
