Gail and Seth and Caroline Owens have a new addition to their family. I'm sure there will be lots more pictures as Gail gets up and about. She had a scheduled C-section this morning at 7 a.m. They had to be there at 5 a.m. and I never even heard a peep when they left. Those kids are so quiet.
I showed up at the hospital with my camera about 7:30 and a nice nurse let me in to the nursery, so I could see this cute little wee one. The pictures are of him just minutes old. The goop is still in his eyes, so he's not opening them much in the photos. Gail's surgery was routine--no complications and she was awake during the whole process. No excessive bleeding and all looks well. Baby is fine. He's cute (of course!), has lots of dark hair (sorry, Tandy!), a nice healthy cry, good reflexes, all his fingers and toes. He looks GREAT! 8 pounds, 1 oz. 19 inches long. We are all very relieved and happy that he's here and lookin' good. Congratulations to Gail and Seth!

Congratulations to you, Grandma Linda! You are getting quite the crew of grandchildren. If I'm counting correctly the girls and boys are evenly matched in numbers now. :-)
I can't believe how LARGE that boy was at 2.5 weeks early!
Wow - what would he have been in a few more weeks!!! BIG baby! Cute too :o)
