You'll need to click on the photo above. There were about 10 horses with riders who walked right behind us on the trail while were were sitting there fishing! It was quite exciting. They stopped at the top of the pond to get a drink and then went on. Quite exciting. They were only about 8 feet away from us. One apologized for interrupting our fishing, but we thought it well worth the interruption. (I like horses.)
Those fish were just teasing us! They were swimming back and forth, looking at our bait and then swimming right past it. Little teasers.
The only catch of the day. We released it. Rachel was sad about that since she really wanted to bring one home. But one small fish? Really? Hmmmm. Maybe next time.
