It has been a long-standing tradition for Aunt Tuny to host a Christmas time family get together. It has always been in california, where she lived. But now she lives in Utah with Sandi and Shawn in Saratoga springs. Sandi hosted they get together in their home this year. It was huge! There were lots of Sorensen descendants, most of whom came from Utah homes. But we had cousins who came from colorado, texas, georgia, Nevada. I think there were about 54 people there total. All of Sandi's family was there. My parents came, and all of their four children were there, along with spouses. We were so happy to see David! Donna's entire family came! Most of Robert's family was in attendance. We were only missing Tiffany and boys. Only two of my children were able to come, Gail and Nick with their spouses and children. It would have been nice to get smaller groups photographed in front of the tree, but it was a little chaotic with that many people in their home. Sandy and Sean have a lovely large new home. There was lots of room to spread around. There was quiet areas for nursing babies, there was a toy area for children to gather, Aunt Tuny's apartment in the basement was open for games or TV or eating. It was so accommodating. We all had a great time. I drove Mom and Dad up and back. Shawn has a motorcycle ramp, so that was very convenient for getting dad's wheelchair in and out of the house. Plus, it helped having some strong strapping healthy young men to lend a hand.
