Mom's chipped tooth

Well, it is chipped no more! She noticed over the weekend, or rather Donna and I noticed, that she had a chipped front tooth. It was her left front one, the one that had been badly chipped when she was little. The dentist then in the 1940s just shaved off her teeth to kind of match. She's always had a little bit of a divot on that left front tooth. She still does. But now instead of having another little chip and crack in the center of her smile, it's all nice and filled and smoothed in. Very quickly, too. We called on Tuesday, and they were able to get us in on Wednesday at 8:00 in the morning! Nicely done.

She is happy with it. Modern dentistry is so amazing. They cure the filling substance with an UltraViolet blue light, or some kind of light. Black light? Haha. Whatever the case, the teeth are white the fillings are white and all is good with the world. We hope it lasts. The other one had lasted 80 years!

Her strength and energy is lasting, too! That is really exciting. Yesterday, the Our House bus took a trip to Smith's, and she went. Today, after the dentist we made a stop at Our House Assisted living,  filled up her pills for the week, updated her meds list ( a new druge-- nitrate-- is working) then we went on to Walmart for some items and she circled the entire store almost. Pretty cool. Nice progress.

Check out that gorgeous smile!
