Herriman March 2022

This is the kind of week it has been.

But I'm better. Mike is not.

On Friday, I drove to Nick and Kaylee's house in Herriman. We have not seen them since December!

They have such a fun neighborhood! There's never just one child. There's usually about five. Or more. Bikes. Scooters. Bubbles, Wiggle cars. Sidewalk chalk. They come in packs and it's NOT a through street!

Emily. She's ten months now.

Their neighborhood has large homes with roomy yards and lots.

Back yard playground.

It's unseasonably warm, so it was pleasant sitting on the front porch, watching kids.

There's a small group of them on the neighbor's driveway, drawing with chalk.
See the fence between the neighbors? There is a walkway between them, with NO visibility for drivers backing out their driveways.

So nick and his neighbor cut it down!

That's Logan, sitting on the large boulders (to stop vehicular traffic from using the pedestrian walkway that goes to the school).

Saturday was soccer day. I went to Rachel's.

It's indoor, the courts are small, there is a nice berm/wall surrounding it. That means there is much less ball- chasing! 6 minute quarters, small goals, small girls.  We were done in an hour.

We came home and Garrett came by for Lunch with his 8 year old, Zoe. Kids played. We visited a bit. Emily was awoken from her nap, so I gave her a bottle and Kaylee took Logan all by herself to Logan's game. He said, "It's like a date!" Ha ha.

In the later afternoon, all kids took advantage of the good weather and played outside.

Bounce house!

Baby slide.

Lots of kids.

Peek-a-boo!

She is quit the climber!
Inside the bounce, but WITHOUT the other neighbor kids.

Emily in her swing on the background playground.

Jane is at that uncomfortable age where she needs, but doesn't want naps, so she's grumpy.

But here she is, swinging with her dad in the back yard! And she's happy. Her Daddy ( and Mommy) give good Under-Dog pushes on the swing.
